One Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident at Stewart Avenue and Boyce Road [Fremont, CA]

Crash Between Tanker Truck and Passenger Vehicle on Steward Avenue in Fremont Kills One

 
FREMONT, CA (September 28, 2022) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident at Stewart Avenue and Boyce Road in Fremont early Monday morning, September 26.
 
The accident happened around 4:15 a.m. just west of 880 Freeway, about 0.7 miles north of Auto Mall Parkway. According to the Fremont Police Department, a passenger vehicle was traveling heading west on Stewart Avenue and as it entered Boyce Road, the vehicle collided with a tanker truck which was heading north on Boyce Road.
 
Three people were in the passenger vehicle, and one of them died at the scene. The coroner’s office withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
 
No other injuries were reported.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the tanker truck remained at the crash site and cooperated with police.
