Douglas Castillo Killed in Construction Site Accident on Frontage Road near 710 Freeway

 
SOUTH GATE, CA (September 16, 2022) — Douglas Castillo died in a construction site accident on Frontage Road near the 710 Freeway on Wednesday.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the fatal accident happened in the 10000 block of West Frontage Road around 11:20 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a severed water line filled a ditch with a worker inside.
 
As a result, the worker – identified as 34-year-old Castillo – died at the scene. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office has recently released his identity.
