Gabriella Marini Detained in DUI Accident near Columbus Drive and Elinor Street

 
CAPITOLA, CA (September 16, 2022) — Gabriella Marini faces charges in a DUI crash near Columbus Drive and Elinor Street on Friday.
 
According to authorities, the DUI accident happened around 8:30 p.m. Upon learning about a reported hit-and-run near Columbus Drive and Elinor Street, officers quickly located a white pickup truck that reportedly struck nine parked cars in the Explorer neighborhood. Subsequently, officers tried to make a vehicle traffic stop. However, the driver, identified as 43-year-old Gabriella Marini, continued driving at low speeds of 10 miles per hour.
 
During the chase, police were led onto Kennedy Drive through a trailer park where the Capitola woman lost a front tire.
 
Soon after, police arrested her and booked her into Santa Cruz County Jail. Authorities learned that she was under the influence of alcohol and arrested her on multiple charges.
