1 Dead, 2 Hospitalized in Big Rig Crash on Highway 88 in Stockton

 
STOCKTON, CA (September 16, 2022) — One person died in a big rig accident on Highway 88 near Live Oak Road on Wednesday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 8:00 p.m. Just northeast of Stockton, a big rig crashed into two cars, causing one vehicle the veer off the road into a ditch.
 
Responding authorities and paramedics arrived soon after and found one person with fatal injuries. Meanwhile, medics brought two others to a hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
 
It’s unclear what caused this accident. However, the CHP will look into this crash more closely to identify the possible factors. If anyone has seen this crash, please call CHP officers.
