Dump Truck Accident on Harley Knox Boulevard near Indian Avenue in Perris

 
PERRIS, CA (September 16, 2022) – Two people sustained injuries in a truck accident on Harley Knox Boulevard on Thursday afternoon.
 
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the incident happened on September 15 at about 3:15 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a dump truck and a compact car collided near Indian Avenue, just south of March Air Reserve Base.
 
Responders reportedly used industrial equipment to free an occupant trapped in the car. Emergency crews later transported the victim to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
The driver of the truck also suffered injuries. However, it is unknown if the driver needed hospitalization.
 
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate the cause of the accident.
