INDIO, CA (August 25, 2022) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Indio Boulevard near Van Buren Street on Tuesday night.
 
According to Indio Police Department officials, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred around 11:40 p.m. For unknown reasons, an unidentified man was in the roadway at the time a driver of a Toyota Scion struck him.
 
Soon after, Indio police officers arrived at the scene and found an unidentified male on the ground who later died from his injuries.
 
At this time, the Riverside County coroner’s office has yet to identify the name of the victim while investigators determine the liabilities.
