1 Hurt after Big Rig Hits Vehicle on Highway 12 in Stockton

 
STOCKTON, CA (August 23, 2022) — One person was injured after a semi-truck hit a car on Highway 12 near Tower Park Bridge on Sunday.
 
According to the Stockton Police Department, the two-vehicle crash happened around 12:40 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver operating a semi-truck carrying pallets of beer struck a sedan on Highway 12.
 
As a result of the impact, three pallets of beer spilled onto the roadway. Soon after, emergency personnel reached the scene and brought one person in the sedan to a hospital in critical condition.
 
At this time, authorities have not indicated the leading cause of the crash. However, if anyone has more information on this accident, please contact the authorities.
