Motorcyclist Dies after Crashing into Car on Bear Valley Road in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (August 14, 2022) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Bear Valley Road in Victorville on Friday morning, August 12.
 
The accident happened just before 11:00 a.m. near the entrance of the Food 4 Less shopping center. According to the Victorville Sheriff’s Department, the driver of a silver Fiat 500L made a left turn from Bear Valley Road into a shopping center parking lot.
 
A white Suzuki GSX-R600L9 motorcycle drove west on Bear Valley Road, striking the rear passenger door of the Fiat.
 
After the crash, the motorcycle rider was ejected onto the roadway. Paramedics rushed him to Desert Valley Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
 
The Fiat sustained damage to the right rear passenger side. The driver remained on scene and cooperated with officers.
 
Alcohol or drugs was not a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
