EAST LOS ANGELES, CA (July 11, 2022) – A pedestrian sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash at Whittier Boulevard and Hoefner Avenue in East Los Angeles on Friday evening.
 
The crash happened around 7:06 p.m. on July 8 just near Commerce. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the pedestrian was riding a skateboard when a vehicle struck them.
 
After the crash, the involved driver fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
First responders transported the victim to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
