Michellie Gonzalez and Jennyfer Flores Die in Car Crash on Wilmington Avenue at Stockwell Street

 
COMPTON, CA (June 14, 2022) — Jennyfer Flores and Michellie Gonzalez died in a two-car accident on Wilmington Avenue at Stockwell Street on Sunday.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, initial reports said the fatal crash took place during a street takeover. However, an investigation into this account should confirm whether this is true.
 
Around 11:45 p.m., a man driving southbound on Wilmington Avenue with a green traffic light crashed into an eastbound red Honda shuttling 18-year-old Flores and 20-year-old Gonzalez.
 
Shortly after, paramedics reached the scene and confirmed Flores and Gonzalez dead, despite Good Samaritans’ efforts of rendering aid. As for the driver in the other vehicle, he reported no serious injuries in the crash.
