Man Killed in Penngrove Pedestrian Accident on Old Redwood Highway

 
PENNGROVE, CA (June 8, 2022) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Old Redwood Highway near Hatchery Road on Sunday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 12:39 p.m. For unclear reasons, a man walking in the bike lane either stumbled or walked into the path of a northbound Ford F-150.
 
As a result, the truck slammed into the pedestrian on the road, immediately drawing paramedics to the scene.
 
On dispatch, emergency personnel brought the victim to Petaluma Valley Hospital where the man died from his injuries. As for the driver and passenger of the Ford, both reported no injuries.
