Man Dies after Hit by Vehicle on 215 Freeway in Moreno Valley Area

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (May 28, 2022) – A man was hit and killed by a vehicle on 215 Freeway in Moreno Valley area on Friday morning, May 27.
 
The fatal crash happened around 7:25 a.m. near 60 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, the man apparently jumped or fell from an overcrossing.
 
A vehicle then struck the victim while lying in the freeway.
 
As a result, the man suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The name, age and hometown of the victim were not immediately available.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor. The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
