39-Year-Old Pedestrian Jessie Fleury Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Palm Springs

 
PALM SPRINGS, CA (May 28, 2022) – Jessie Fleury died in a hit-and-run crash in Palm Springs on Friday morning, May 27.
 
The fatal crash happened around 6:40 a.m. near East Palm Canyon and South Broadmoor drives. According to the Palm Springs Police Department, they received several reports of a person lying on a dirt shoulder near the intersection.
 
When officers arrived, they found the male pedestrian lying on the roadway and was already dead.
 
Fleury was 39-years-old from San Jacinto, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
 
At this time, the hit-and-run driver remains at-large.
 
Police said they were looking for a red 2012-16 Porsche Carrera with front-end damage. The department’s Traffic Division asked witnesses to call them at 760-323-8125.
