2 Dead, Car Crashed into Big Rig on Highway 99 in McFarland

 
MCFARLAND, CA (April 26, 2022) — Two people died after a car crashed into a semi-truck on Highway 99 near Highway 46 on Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle accident happened around 2:30 a.m. For unknown reasons, a car driving northbound on Highway 99 crashed into the back of a semi-truck.
 
As a result, authorities confirmed two people dead at the scene and another person suffered moderate injuries.
 
The Kern County Coroner’s Office has not identified the two fatalities.
 
At this time, investigators have yet to confirm the ultimate cause of the crash. However, an investigation into the outstanding details should reveal more information. If any witnesses would like to share details with investigators, please contact the CHP.
