Eliseo Vasquez Killed in Head-On Crash on American Avenue near Lake Avenue

 
KERMAN, CA (April 26, 2022) — Eliseo Vasquez died in a head-on accident on American Avenue near Lake Avenue on Sunday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly two-car crash happened around 8:30 p.m. For unknown reasons, 45-year-old Vasquez allowed his eastbound vehicle to veer into the westbound lane.
 
Subsequently, his car struck an oncoming vehicle driven by a 45-year-old woman.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded to the crash site but pronounced Vasquez – who was not wearing his seatbelt – deceased on arrival.
 
As for the other driver, emergency personnel airlifted her to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
 
At this time, investigators have yet to confirm if DUI played a factor in this crash. Therefore, if anyone has information to share with authorities, please call the CHP.
