18-Year-Old Driver Fractures Pelvis after Colliding with Another Car on Nautilus Street in La Jolla

 
LA JOLLA, CA (April 19, 2022) – An 18-year old male driver suffered injuries in a two-car accident on Nautilus Street in the La Jolla neighborhood of San Diego on Thursday evening.
 
The accident happened around 10:22 p.m. on April 14. According to the San Diego Police Department, the teen driver was driving a 2005 Mazda sedan westbound when he lost control as a he was negotiating a right-side curve.
 
He then collided into the rear end of a 2008 BMW sedan that was parked along the north curb line of 1800 Nautilus Street.
 
As a result, the victim fractured his pelvis and other bones. Paramedics transported him to a hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
