At Least 1 Hurt in Placer County Accident with Big Rig on 80 Freeway

 
PLACER COUNTY, CA (April 12, 2022) — At least one person was injured in a crash with a big rig on the 80 Freeway near Donner Summit on Monday morning.
 
According to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, the two-vehicle accident happened Monday morning during inclement weather.
 
As chain controls went into effect, a driver of a red Jeep crashed into a big rig. As a result, at least one person suffered minor injuries in the crash. Soon after, authorities and paramedics reached the scene to provide aid to the patients.
