LAKE ELSINORE, CA (April 11, 2022) – Two people died in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 74 northeast of Lake Elsinore early Sunday morning.
 
The accident happened around 2:20 a.m. on April 10 at Hammack Avenue. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, two vehicles collided head-on for unknown reasons.
 
When officers arrived, they found two people suffering from fatal injuries. After that, police pronounced them dead at the scene.
 
Paramedics transported two other patients to hospitals, one with major injuries and the other had minor injuries.
 
Authorities believe speed played a role. However, the crash is under investigation.
