Blanca Rodriguez Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident on Merced Avenue [Shafter, CA]

50-Year-Old Texas Resident Blanca Rodriguez Dies after Colliding with Another Vehicle at Merced and Magnolia Avenues

 
SHAFTER, CA (April 1, 2022) – Blanca Esthela Rodriguez died in a two-vehicle accident northwest of Shafter on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The fatal accident happened around 12:05 p.m. on March 30, at the intersection of Merced Avenue and Magnolia Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, Rodriguez was driving her car when she collided with another vehicle in unclear circumstances.
 
As a result of the crash, Rodriguez suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. She was a 50-year-old resident of Pearland, Texas, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
 
The condition of the other driver was not immediately known.
 
At this time, CHP officials are still investigating whether speed, alcohol or drugs was a factor.
