SAN JOSE, CA (March 9, 2022) — One person suffered life-threatening injuries in a pedestrian accident at Capitol Expressway and Story Road on Monday night.
 
According to police, the pedestrian accident happened around 6:18 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a pedestrian walking either in or out or marked crosswalk was hit by a car.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded to the scene and brought the victim to a hospital in a life-threatening condition.
 
Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and spoke to officers.
