Coroner Identifies Local Woman Killed in San Jacinto Head-On Crash

 
SAN JACINTO, CA (February 24, 2022) – Ashley Jachelski died in a head-on accident in San Jacinto early Saturday morning, February 19.
 
The accident happened just before 3:00 a.m. on North Sanderson Avenue near West Ramona Expressway. According to the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station, two vehicles collided head-on after one of them crossed over the other lane for unknown reasons.
 
When officials arrived, they located two SUVs with heavy front-end damage. They also found the two drivers with major injuries.
 
Despite life-saving efforts, Jachelski died at the scene. She was a 33-year-old San Jacinto resident, according to the Riverside County Sheriff – Coroner’s Office.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics rushed the other driver to a local hospital for treatment.
 
At this time, it is unclear if alcohol or drugs played a part in this crash. Further investigation is underway.
