Man Dies in Pasadena Pedestrian Crash at Orange Grove Boulevard

 
PASADENA, CA (February 14, 2022) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Orange Grove Boulevard at Walnut Street on Thursday evening.
 
According to Pasadena Police, the fatal pedestrian crash happened around 6:50 p.m. Under unclear road conditions, a 46-year-old Pasadena man struck a pedestrian crossing outside of a marked crosswalk.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded and brought the seriously injured victim to a hospital.
 
However, despite receiving care, the patient died.
 
Following the crash, police investigated the incident and learned that DUI did not factor into the cause. However, an ongoing investigation of the outstanding details should confirm more information.
