Sasi Prasad Dead, Alantae Hemmingway Detained in DUI Car Crash on Grand Avenue and Norwood Avenue

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (February 14, 2022) — Sasi Kamleshwar Prasad died in a DUI car accident on Grand Avenue at Norwood Avenue on February 10.
 
According to Sacramento Police, the fatal crash happened around 10:40 p.m. For DUI-related reasons, 33-year-old Alantae Hemmingway crashed his vehicle into another car, driven by 57-year-old Prasad.
 
As a result, Prasad suffered major injuries and died at the scene. Meanwhile, three others including Hemmingway suffered unknown injuries in the accident.
 
Following the crash, police arrested Hemmingway on gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. At this time, he faces incarceration at the Sacramento County Main Jail.
