3 People Hurt in Piru 2-Car Crash on Highway 126

 
PIRU, CA (February 10, 2022) — Three people suffered minor to critical injuries in a car accident on Highway 126 near Center Street on February 2.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 2-car collision happened around 5:28 p.m. For unknown reasons, a Toyota 4Runner and a Ford F-250 pickup truck collided in the westbound lanes.
 
Shortly after, Ventura County Fire Department, CHP officials and AMR paramedics responded. Due to the Toyota driver’s injuries, paramedics immediately brought him to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
 
As for the two other victims, they declined medical treatment after having suffered minor wounds.
 
At this time, authorities have no information surrounding the cause or where the fault lies. However, if any witnesses have more information, please contact the CHP.
