Robert Meza Dies in Lebec 2-Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Fort Tejon Road

 
LEBEC, CA (February 10, 2022) — Robert Steven Meza died in a two-car accident on the 5 Freeway near Fort Tejon Road on January 14.
 
According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, 27-year-old Meza of Pasadena died in the 3:45 a.m. crash.
 
For unknown reasons, an unidentified driver in a separate vehicle struck his car on the northbound lanes of the 5 Freeway.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, Meza sustained fatal injuries.
 
Soon after, paramedics transported the second driver to Kern Medical with major injuries.
 
At this time, deputies have no information surrounding the circumstances and cause of the crash. However, anyone with information should reach out to the California Highway Patrol.
