Bicyclist Injured in Hit-and-Run on Glendale Boulevard [Silver Lake, CA]

Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Dragging Bicyclist on Glendale Boulevard near Allesandro Street

 
SILVER LAKE, CA (February 4, 2022) – A bicyclist sustained injuries following a hit-and-run accident on Glendale Boulevard on Sunday afternoon.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened on January 16, at about 4:20 p.m. A dashcam video showed that a silver 2012 to 2016 Hyundai Elantra hit the rear of a bicycle.
 
The driver did not stop after the collision and the Hyundai briefly dragged the bicyclist. Fortunately, the bicyclist was able to move away from the vehicle. Then, he ran to a safer area near Allesandro Street.
 
As per reports, the bicyclist sustained minor injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the Hyundai continued southbound on Glendale Boulevard. Witnesses claim that the vehicle was last seen going westbound on Berkley Avenue.
 
Investigators believe that the Hyundai is likely to have right front-end damage and missing its right front hub cap.
