Sean Davis Dies in Desert Hot Springs Pedestrian Accident on Palm Drive

 
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (February 4, 2022) — A man died in a pedestrian accident near the intersection of Palm Drive and Estrella Avenue on Saturday, January 29.
 
The coroner’s office has identified the victim as 29-year-old Sean Davis of Desert Hot Springs.
 
According to Desert Hot Springs Police, the fatal pedestrian crash happened around 10:22 p.m. For unknown reasons, a 67-year-old Desert Hot Springs woman driving northbound on Palm Drive struck Davis in the No. 1 lane, who was crossing eastbound.
 
Paramedics arrived to the scene and transported Davis to Desert Regional Medical Center with major injuries. However, officials later pronounced him dead at the hospital.
 
The driver told officers that she did not see the pedestrian until immediately before the collision and was unable to avoid hitting Davis.
 
At this time, no arrests have been made. However, an ongoing investigation into the details of this pedestrian accident should confirm more information.
