Pedestrian Injured in Accident on Spencer Avenue [Oroville, CA]

OROVILLE, CA (January 28, 2022) – A pedestrian sustained injuries in an accident on Spencer Avenue on Thursday morning.
 
According to the Oroville Police Department, the incident happened on January 27, at about 6:36 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle hit the pedestrian in the area of Spencer Avenue and Oro Dam Boulevard East.
 
Emergency crews later transported the victim to Enloe Medical Center. However, the extent of the person’s injuries remains unknown.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
 
Oroville police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
