Jesus Garcia Killed in Gridley Car Crash on Highway 99

 
GRIDLEY, CA (December 20, 2021) — A man died in a 2-car accident on Highway 99 near Liberty Road on Monday evening, December 13.
 
The Butte County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 43-year-old Jesus Garcia.
 
According to the Gridley Police Department, the fatal two-vehicle crash happened around 6:50 p.m. just north of West Liberty Road and Highway 99.
 
As a result, Garcia died at the scene.
 
The driver of the other vehicle was sent to the hospital.
 
At this time, authorities have not released information on what caused the car accident. However, an ongoing investigation into the details should confirm more information.
