Danielle Morgan Faces Murder and DUI Charges after Fatal Crash in Modesto, Yahir Valladares and Favian Reinoso Identified
MODESTO, CA (December 20, 2021) – Two men died and police arrested Danielle Morgan for DUI after a fatal crash in Modesto on Saturday, December 11.
Relatives identified the victims as Yahir Gomez Valladares and Favian Reinoso, both 19.
The accident happened just before 8:00 p.m. at West Whitmore Avenue and Crows Landing Road. According to the Ceres Police Department, both Reinoso and Valladares were in a 2008 Nissan sedan that was traveling eastbound through the intersection. However, their vehicle was struck by a 2019 Ford F-350, driven by Morgan.
According to the Ceres Police Department, the truck ran the red light in a southbound direction when it collided with the Nissan.
Valladares and Reinoso died at the scene.
A GoFundMe for Reinoso and a GoFundMe for Valladares have been set up.
Police arrested and charged Morgan, a 28-year-old Fair Oaks woman, with two counts of murder and DUI in relation to the crash.
