Rebecca Rossel Killed in Pedestrian Accident near Maple Avenue [Fresno, CA]

30-Year-Old Woman Dies after Hit by Car near Maple and McKinley Avenues

 
FRESNO, CA (December 13, 2021) – Rebecca Rossel was killed in a pedestrian accident in east central Fresno on Tuesday, December 7.
 
The fatal accident happened near the intersection of Maple Avenue and McKinley Avenue. According to the Fresno Police Department, the 30-year-old victim was the crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk when a westbound car struck her.
 
First responders rushed Rossel to Community Regional Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
 
The driver of the car remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
At this time, it is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
