2 Officers Hurt in San Francisco 2-Car Crash at Golden Gate Bridge

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (November 15, 2021) — Two officers were injured in a car accident at Golden Gate Bridge near Lincoln Boulevard just before 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
 
According to reports, the crash happened during a protest by those opposed to vaccine mandates. For unknown reasons, a driver in an SUV collided with a bridge sweeper. As a result, the sweeper swerved from the middle lane into the bridge buffer truck, which then struck several people. In the crash, two California Highway Patrol officers suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
 
At this time, details as to where the liabilities fall or other factors that played a role in the crash require additional investigation. Although, any witnesses with information should contact the CHP.
