Hector Vela Dies in Crash on 605 Freeway near Rose Hills Road

 
PICO RIVERA, CA (November 4, 2021) — Hector Vela died in an accident on the 605 Freeway near Rose Hills Road Sunday.
 
According to reports, the deadly crash happened Sunday on the southbound 605 Freeway. Under unclear circumstances, 24-year-old Vela became involved in a crash near the Rose Hills Road exit.
 
Shortly after, emergency personnel responded to the scene to tend to his wounds. However, Vela succumbed to his injuries not long after.
 
At this time, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office has ruled his death as an accident. However, an explanation for the crash remains unclear. Therefore, any witnesses with information should contact the Pico Rivera police.
