Michael Pineda-Guillen and Raymond Sada Die in Solo-Car Accident in North Hollywood

 
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (October 14, 2021) – Two men were killed in a fiery car accident at Vineland Avenue and Burbank Boulevard early Monday morning, October 11.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, around 1:30 a.m. the driver lost control of the vehicle while heading northbound on Vineland Avenue, veering across the southbound lanes at Burbank Boulevard. As a result, it crashed into a palm tree and caught fire.
 
The vehicle was still burning when emergency crews arrived. There were no visible skid marks at the scene, making it unclear whether the driver tried to slow down prior to the crash.
 
24-year-old Michael Pineda-Guillen and 23-year-old Raymond Sada, both of North Hollywood, died at the scene, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office reported. Pineda-Guillen was believed to have been the driver, according to the coroner’s office.
 
The exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
