FALLBROOK, CA (October 4, 2021) — One person died in a pedestrian accident on Ammunition Road near Alturas Road Saturday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly incident happened around 9:12 p.m. Under unknown circumstances, a driver struck a person near the Fallbrook gate to Camp Pendleton.
 
As a result of the crash, the pedestrian suffered fatal injuries.
