CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA (September 28, 2021) — One person suffered major injuries in a 3-car accident on Byron Highway at Clifton Court Sunday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-car crash happened around 3:15 p.m. For unknown reasons, a vehicle described as a sedan struck a piece of farm equipment that was being towed.
 
Subsequently, several vehicles became involved thereafter. Soon after, paramedics responded and airlifted one patient to a hospital with major injuries and internal injuries.
