Woman Dies in Carmichael 3-Car Crash on Fair Oaks Boulevard

 
CARMICHAEL, CA (September 28, 2021) — A woman died in a 3-car accident on Fair Oaks Boulevard near Marshall Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal incident happened around 4:35 p.m. on Monday. For unknown reasons, a 21-year-old woman speeding along eastbound Fair Oaks Boulevard rear-ended a GMC Denali.
 
Subsequently, the woman’s silver sedan flipped into oncoming traffic where it collided head-on with a westbound Chevy pickup.
 
As a result of the crash, the woman in the sedan suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Shortly after, paramedics brought the 62-year-old man driving the Denali and the 56-year-old man operating the Chevy to a hospital with minor injuries.
 
At this time, police have not confirmed an explanation for the accident, despite speed partially playing a factor. However, anyone with more information on this incident should contact the CHP.
