Electric Shock Accident at Rancho Verde High Sends Science High School Teacher to Hospital

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (September 8, 2021) – A high school science teacher was taken to a hospital after an electric shock accident at Rancho Verde High in Moreno Valley late last month.
 
The accident happened about 11:30 a.m. on August 31. According to initial reports, the teacher received the electric shock from the school’s computer charger. After the accident, the teacher had complaints of numbness and tingling.
 
Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department paramedics immediately responded and treated the educator at the school’s campus before taking him to an area hospital as a precaution.
 
Meanwhile, the district’s maintenance staff have responded to the school’s campus to examine the potentially faulty charger.
 
No other information is available at this time. The accident remains under investigation.
