Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu
MALIBU, CA (September 8, 2021) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu Monday evening.
The accident happened around 8:38 p.m. on September 6, at the intersection with Cross Creek Place. According to the Malibu-Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station, the male pedestrian was either standing or walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
The impact caused the pedestrian fatal injuries and he died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the involved driver remained on scene and cooperated with deputies.
Crews closed the westbound lanes in the area until around midnight while they cleared the wreckage.
At this time, the identity of the victim was not available. This fatal accident is still under investigation.
