Catrina Carrillo-Ruiz, Frances Rodriguez Dies in High-Speed Crash on Pacific Avenue at Willard Street

 
LONG BEACH, CA (August 17, 2021) — Catrina Carrillo-Ruiz and Frances Rodriguez died in a high-speed accident on Pacific Avenue at Willard Street early Monday.
 
According to the Long Beach Police Department, the fatal two-vehicle crash happened around 1:40 a.m. For unknown reasons, a 44-year-old Los Angeles woman driving a 2017 Honda Civic collided with a 2015 Toyota Camry at the intersection.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and pronounced the 19-year-old Toyota driver from Long Beach, Carrillo-Ruiz, dead at the scene. Meanwhile, others brought her 23-year-old passenger, Rodriguez, to a nearby hospital, where she died.
 
As for the Honda driver and her 30-year-old male passenger, both required hospital care and appeared to be in stable condition.
