Police Arrest Hit-and-Run Suspect Burnett Livingston after Long Beach Crash that Injured 7-Month-Old Baby

 
LONG BEACH, CA (June 13, 2021) – Police arrested Burnett Livingston after a hit-and-run crash Thursday morning in Long Beach.
 
The incident happened around 11:30 a.m. on June 10 at the intersection of Long Beach Boulevard and 67th Street. According to the Long Beach Police Department, the 62-year-old Compton man was driving a white early 90s model Ford Explorer when he hit a 7-month-old baby pushed in a stroller by his mother.
 
After the crash, Livingston fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and took the child to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Authorities recovered the suspect vehicle Thursday night in the Lindbergh neighborhood of Long Beach. They arrested Livingston and booked him for felony hit-and-run at $50,000 bail.
