Vehicle Crashes into House in Hit-and-Run on Commonwealth Avenue in San Jacinto

 
SAN JACINTO, CA (May 13, 2021) – Police looked for two gun-wielding motorists following a hit-and-run accident on Commonwealth Avenue on May 7.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Esplanade Avenue around 10:10 AM.
 
Based on a report, a Kia sedan was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the crash. Then, the driver crashed through a brick wall and hit a house. Subsequently, deputies from the Riverside Sheriff’s Office spotted two males running from the scene.
 
Fortunately, no one in the house was hurt in the incident.
 
In addition, deputies said one of the subjects tossed a gun over a fence. Consequently, they called for additional resources and called for a lockdown at nearby Park Hill Elementary.
 
Afterward, an updated report showed that the police were able to locate the suspects. At this point, no other details are available. In addition, an investigation is ongoing.
