ESCONDIDO, CA (May 13, 2021) – A woman suffered serious injuries in a multi-vehicle accident in the 17900 block of San Pasqual Valley Road on May 7.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 5:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, the woman was driving a 2015 Ford Fiesta eastbound on the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, she crossed over the solid double-yellow line and crashed head-on into a 2007 Volkswagen Jetta. Consequently, both vehicles spun counterclockwise. Then, a Nissan Cube struck the front driver’s side door of the Ford.
 
As a result, the victim sustained serious back and head injuries. Paramedics sent her to a hospital for treatment. In addition, the driver of the Volkswagen complained of pain.
 
At this point, the San Diego Police Department is investigating this accident on San Pasqual Valley Road.
