32-Year-Old Josue Contreras Dies in Orange Accident on 22 Freeway near Main Street

 
ORANGE, CA (April 27, 2021) – Authorities identified 32-year-old Josue Contreras of Santa Ana as the rider killed in an accident on 22 Freeway, early Saturday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 2:20 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, the victim’s motorcycle crashed on the eastbound 22 Freeway near Main Street.
 
Emergency crews attempted life-saving measures. Unfortunately, Contreras later succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
 
As per reports, the initial investigation suggests that the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the accident. However, CHP continues to investigate the circumstances that led to the fatal incident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
