Deadly Motorcycle Crash on Gilman Springs Road in Lakeview Involves Passenger Van

 
LAKEVIEW, CA (April 5, 2021) – One person died in a motorcycle accident on Gilman Springs Road at Bridge Street Saturday, April 3.
 
The accident happened just past 8:05 a.m., the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department said. The motorcycle collided with a passenger van for unknown reasons.
 
Firefighters tried saving the rider, but the unidentified victim died at the scene.
 
It was not immediately known how many people were in the van at the time of the crash, but firefighters reported no other injuries.
 
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department was investigating the ultimate cause of the crash.
