SANTA BARBARA, CA (March 12, 2021) — A 5-year-old was injured in a multi-car accident on Highway 154 near Stagecoach Road Wednesday.
 
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the crash happened around 10:30 a.m. at Cold Spring Bridge. For unknown reasons, eight cars collided during hail and snowy weather conditions.
 
As a result, two people, including a 5-year-old, sustained injuries. Per reports, the child suffered facial wounds in the crash that involved a motorhome and a black sedan.
 
At some point in the accident, a white SUV veered over the highway. However, reports did not specify if anyone in that car suffered an injury.
 
At this time, the cause remains under investigation. Although, if anyone has more news on this crash, please contact the California Highway Patrol.
