Woman Dies in Inglewood Pedestrian Accident on 110 Freeway

 
INGLEWOOD, CA (February 11, 2021) — A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on the 110 Freeway near Manchester Avenue Tuesday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian crash happened around 9:45 p.m.
 
For unknown reasons, a woman began crossing the southbound freeway lanes near the Manchester Avenue exit. Subsequently, a Toyota Prius, a Honda Civic and a Ford Escape struck the woman.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Meanwhile, all three drivers stayed on site for police investigations.
 
Due to the accident, officials issued a SigAlert for the No. 3, 4 and 5 lanes until 1:00 a.m.
 
At this time, detectives do not believe alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash. However, if anyone has more information on this pedestrian accident on the 110 Freeway, please call the CHP.
