Two Vehicles Involved in Fatal Rollover Crash on Highway 99 in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (February 11, 2021) – Police confirmed that one person died in a rollover crash on Highway 99 on January 29.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Fresno Street shortly before 5:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, two vehicles were travelling north on the freeway prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, they collided with each other in the two leftmost lanes. Subsequently, one of the vehicles, a truck, overturned.
 
As a result, the driver of the truck died in the incident. Authorities said the victim was not wearing a seat belt at that time. They did not yet release the deceased’s name pending kin notification. Two of the passengers in the truck also suffered minor injuries.
 
At this point, the CHP is still investigating the case. In addition, they ask anyone with information about this rollover crash on Highway 99 to contact them.
