Multi-Vehicle Accident on 110 Freeway in Carson Kills 1 and Injures 3

 
CARSON, CA (February 8, 2021) – One person was killed after a multi-vehicle accident on 110 Freeway in Carson Monday evening.
 
The multi-vehicle accident happened around 8:10 p.m. near the Carson Street exit.
 
CHP officials did not provide details of how the crash occurred, but they confirmed one fatality as a result of the accident. The identity of the deceased was not immediately available.
 
Three other people were injured. One of the victims sustained critical injuries while two others only had minor injuries, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
 
Aerial footage showed debris across lanes and severely damaged vehicles. At least four cars and a big rig appeared to be involved.
 
Crews issued a SigAlert for the northbound lanes between Carson Street and Torrance Boulevard after the crash.
 
An investigation is ongoing.
