Sideswipe Accident Reported on 10 Freeway in Whitewater

 
WHITEWATER, CA (February 10, 2021) – A CHP officer suffered injuries in an accident on westbound 10 Freeway on February 6.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Highway 62 around 1:37 PM.
 
Based on a report, an unidentified car sideswiped the victim’s motorcycle. Subsequently, the victim was thrown off from his bike. At this point, officials have not yet released the details that led to the crash.
 
CHP said that multiple units responded and rescued the 31-year-old officer from San Bernardino. As a result, the victim suffered major injuries in the incident. Crews transported him to the hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle was not hurt in the accident.
